Its principal, Jeff Waatainen, is a published author and columnist in the field, an adjunct Professor of law at UBC, and has over a decade of experience with the forestry practice group of a major firm in the field. He has worked on projects ranging from large corporate mergers and acquisitions to the purchase and sale of small forest tenures; from major forestry litigation to advising clients on their "opportunity to be heard" presentations under the Forest and Range Practices Act.
